This is a JINSHANG TECH end-emitting plastic optical fiber with a 1.5 mm/2.2 mm PMMA core and fluorinated-polymer cladding, supplied for decorative lighting.
Because the optical path is non-conductive, the unit provides electrical isolation between connected equipment and can be routed past motors, drives and power wiring without picking up noise.
